Order Processing

Order Confirmation: All website sales, telephonic sales, or email sales will be dispatched upon receipt and confirmation of payment into our bank account. We encourage customers to ensure prompt payment to facilitate timely dispatch.
Transportation and Delivery Costs: Please note that transportation and delivery costs are not included in the online prices displayed on our website. All transportation will be quoted and billed separately, ensuring transparency in your total cost.
Customer Responsibility: All transportation costs are the responsibility of the customer, except for deliveries within a 50 km range in and around Walvis Bay and Windhoek, which will enjoy complimentary delivery as a token of our appreciation for your business.

Local Deliveries

Delivery Schedule: Local deliveries are sent out twice a day using our dedicated delivery vehicles, ensuring your orders arrive at the earliest possible time.
Dispatch Cut-off Time: All consignments are dispatched once a day at 4:00 PM. The cut-off time for payments to reflect is 2:00 PM; otherwise, consignments will be held over for dispatch the following day. We recommend planning your orders accordingly to avoid delays.
Courier Services: For services to the north of Namibia, we utilize Formula Couriers, and for services to the south and Lüderitz, we employ Hardap Freight. We can also accommodate your preferences by sending consignments via the customer's chosen service provider, ensuring flexibility to meet your delivery needs.

Cross-Border Freight Services

Fast Freight and Overnight Services: For fast-freight and overnight services across borders in Southern Africa, we utilize Triton Express Services. For Angola, we employ Airfreight services to Luanda and Lubango, ensuring quick and efficient delivery to our clients.
Airfreight Options: Airfreight can also be offered to other SADC countries if required, providing our customers with fast, reliable options for their shipping needs.
Cross-Border Documentation: All cross-border documentation and clearing will be billed separately and will be the customer's responsibility unless negotiated otherwise. We advise our customers to familiarize themselves with the required documentation to avoid any unforeseen delays.
Bulk Loads: For bulk loads, we make use of Blaauws Transport to and from South Africa unless otherwise arranged by the customer, guaranteeing that your larger orders are handled with care and efficiency.
International Consignments: For consignments outside of SADC countries, we recommend using DHL for reliable and swift deliveries. However, seafreight could be arranged for larger consignments across the globe, providing various options tailored to your needs.

Vessel Calling to the Port of Walvis Bay

Working with Ship Agents: For vessels calling at the Port of Walvis Bay, we prefer working with the ship's agent or chandler handling the vessel's operations. This ensures seamless coordination for deliveries.
Direct Arrangements: If the vessel has arranged with Marine Ropes directly to deliver all purchases to the vessel at the port, please note that all customs clearing documentation charges will be additional and the customer's responsibility. It’s crucial to confirm these arrangements in advance to prevent any miscommunication.
Payment Requirement: Payments for all purchases and documentation should reflect before any delivery can commence. This helps maintain an efficient process, minimizing potential delays.
