These Terms & Conditions govern your use of Marine Ropes cc’s website and your interactions with us, including all sales, purchases, and service inquiries. By using this website and purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Orders and Payments

Order Confirmation: All orders, whether placed online, via phone, or email, will only be processed upon confirmation of full payment into our bank account. Please ensure that the correct payment details are provided to avoid delays.
Pricing and Quotes: Prices listed on our website do not include transportation and delivery charges. Any transportation costs will be quoted separately and are to be covered by the customer unless within a 50km range of Walvis Bay or Windhoek, where free delivery is offered.

Shipping & Delivery

Dispatch Policy: Local deliveries are dispatched twice daily with delivery vehicles, and consignments are shipped at 4:00 PM daily. Orders with payments reflecting after the 2:00 PM cutoff will be dispatched the next day.
Cross-Border Services: For fast-freight and overnight deliveries across Southern Africa, we use Triton Express, except for Angola, where airfreight to Luanda and Lubango is available. Customers may request alternative shipping methods, but all cross-border documentation and customs clearance fees will be billed separately.
Bulk Orders: For large consignments, Blaauws Transport is our preferred logistics partner for deliveries to and from South Africa. Seafreight can be arranged for larger international orders upon request.
Vessel Deliveries: We work with ships’ agents or chandlers for deliveries to vessels at the Port of Walvis Bay. If the vessel deals directly with Marine Ropes, customs clearance and documentation will incur additional charges, and full payment must reflect before dispatch.

Product Returns & Refunds

Return Policy: Products may be returned within 14 days of receipt, provided they are in their original, unused condition and packaging. To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team for approval and return instructions.
Refund Policy: Refunds will be issued for eligible returns or order cancellations. A handling fee of 7.5% and a bank charges fee of 2.5% will be deducted from the refund amount. Refunds will only be processed after we receive the returned products and verify their condition.
Non-Refundable Items: Custom orders, special-order items, or goods damaged by the customer are non-refundable.

Customer Responsibilities

Accurate Information: It is the responsibility of the customer to provide accurate shipping and billing information when placing orders. Any errors may result in delays or additional costs, which will be the customer’s responsibility.
Payment Deadlines: Orders will not be processed until full payment is confirmed. For orders with delivery schedules, timely payment is essential to avoid delays in dispatch or shipping.

Liabilities and Disclaimers

Product Availability: While we strive to keep our product listings up to date, stock levels and availability are subject to change. We reserve the right to cancel or modify orders if products are out of stock, and in such cases, customers will be notified promptly.
Shipping Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by third-party carriers, customs clearance, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. We will, however, assist in tracking and resolving shipping issues to the best of our ability.
