Dovetail Weldable Twistlock Slippers
Dovetail Twistlock Slippers are installed where dovetail twistlocks and D-Ring anchors (future) are to be located on structures where the use thereof is intermittent and where the installation of the dovetail would cause a tripping hazard when not in use. The installation of the slipper is permanent as the slipper is welded into position.
Slippers are available in single and double configurations.
Slippers are predominantly used in the shipping industry to secure shipping containers to the decks of ships that can be used for break bulk.
Alternative applications include giving the flexibility for ships to accommodate different sized containers, 10”, 20”, 30”, 40”, 45’ and 50”, hence slippers are strategically installed for the dovetails to be installed as required.
